Mr. Kollmeier is the Director of Bands at Page High School. He joined the Page faculty in the 2021-2022 school year. His teaching responsibilities include Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Jazz Ensembles, AP Music Theory, and Music Theory.

Under his direction, the Page Bands have consistently earned Superior Ratings at Concert Performance Assessment and received the ASBDA Award of Distinction in 2024. In addition, the Wind Ensemble was selected to perform at the Music For All Regional Concert Festival at Belmont University in April 2024. Page Band students have earned positions in the Tennessee All-State, Mid-State, and WCS Honor Bands yearly.

The Marching Band has received several 1st and 2nd place finishes at local competitions and has grown in student membership by 67% in the past three years. Notable accomplishments include Small Division Grand Champion at the 2023 Rockvale Band Contest and Reserve Grand Champion at the 2022 Franklin Sonic Boom Contest. Established in 2021 with 15 members, the Jazz program now includes two Jazz Ensembles with over 40+ members.

Mr. Kollmeier earned his Master of Music in Conducting and Bachelor of Music Education degrees from Missouri State University, in Springfield, MO.  Before teaching at Page High, Mr. Kollmeier taught for six years at Goose Creek CISD in the Houston, Texas area. He is a member of the National Association for Music Education, the Tennessee Music Education Association, and the Middle Tennessee Band and Orchestra Association.

EVAN Burton

Page Middle Band Director

Evan Burton is in his twentieth year as band director at Page Middle School in Franklin, TN, where he serves as chair of the Fine Arts department. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and Anderson University and holds a Master of Music Education. He is a National Board Certified Teacher and is a member of TMEA, MTSBOA, NAfME, and ASBDA. He lives in Nashville, TN.

Under Mr. Burton’s direction, the Page Middle School bands have consistently earned superior ratings at Concert Performance Assessment. They were the recipient of the ASBDA Award of Distinction in Concert Performance in 2018 and 2023 and have performed at the Tennessee State Concert Festival several times. They have been selected to perform at the Music For All Regional Concert Festival in April 2024. Many Page students are selected for membership each year in the All Midstate Bands, Midstate Jazz Band, and the Williamson County Honors Band. Mr. Burton has been a guest conductor and clinician for honor bands and a presenter at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic. He was named a Country Music Association Music Teacher of Excellence in 2022.
